Review of The Night of the Iguana (1964) by Steve K — 20 Oct 2009
I think John Huston did better later on with "Under the Volcano," but this is still an amazing ensemble cast portraying a very complex tale. It's unfortunate that, like many stray-from-God tales, redemption is found in oneself or another mortal, but this films avoids any pandering about it and lets the viewer see it for all it is.
And I see a tragedy.
