Review of The Name of the Rose (1986) by Paul C — 10 Oct 2007
Medieval detective story set around a monastery where a series of gruesome murders have taken place. Connery is superb in this film and he is surrounded by an excellent supporting cast - some of whom are as ugly as the story is dark.
A really great film which seems to have inexplicably disappeared off the radar.
