Review of The Man Who Laughs (1928) by Nina S — 21 Jan 2009
A silent classic. The story is a little weak and runs a bit too long, but the look and the atmosphere were quite good, and the performances by the lead actors were well done (even if they acted with the over-exaggerations that were par for the course in the silent era).
Worth a viewing from any film buff.
