Review of The Maltese Falcon (1941) by Nick M — 31 Oct 2012

I have to admit, being a member of the younger generation and all, I was fairly skeptical when I saw this movie. I was wondering what could possibly be in this movie that was so incredibly good and enduring that it would remain one of the consistent critical successes from the day it was made until now that wasn't either totally overrated, or just propped up because it was one of the first of its kind in this genre.

I was blown away by most of this movie, the atmosphere was incredible, acting was very intense, and it really does just suck you into the mystery.
