Review of The Limits of Control (2009) by Paul P — 04 May 2010
A real test of a film from Jim Jarmusch. This latest effort from the old dopehead is so strange, and plodding, it fails to make ANY sense. It's worth it only to see cameos from John Hurt, Gael Garcia Bernal, and Tilda Swinton.
Why is Bill Murray in only one scene? The cinematography by Chris Doyle is outstanding. Paz De La Huerta naked throughout the entire film, is almost a reason to see this mediocre effort from the "mystical one".
A real disappointment. Only for diehard Jarmusch fans.
