Review of The Legend of Tarzan (2016) by Hotelcentral — 29 May 2018
This is probably a film for people who know little or nothing about Tarzan, because in that case every flashback will help to illuminate the present and you'll have no idea of what might be coming next, unless you correctly assume that Tarzan will triumph in the end.
For the most part, it's one action sequence after another, interrupted only by flashbacks, which, in many cases, supply us with action sequences of their own. I suppose my main disappointment is that Jane does little but play the helpless victim.
After how many years of living with "Lord Graystoke" you'd think she might have picked up a few tricks to use against her captors.
