Lovely to look at in more ways than one. No matter how you package it this is just another mindless and simple Hollywood action blockbuster. Alexander Skarsgard is ncely cast as the often shirtless jungle muscleman.
Margot Robbie as Jane is not. She faulters badly, appearing far too contemporary for this story. The effects are obviously inspired more by the Disney animated version than anything else. Do we really need another Tarzan movie?
