Review of The Last Winter (2006) by Troy D — 09 Oct 2007
This movie reminds of the novel Michael Crichton's 'The Sphere'. Does thie movie try to convey some message about the human-enviorment interaction? I honestly couldn't figure that out. The second half is certainly entertaining and the gradual build up of suspense is really good.
But there are certainly a lot of unanswered/unexplained scenes dispersed throughout the movie OR the director has left a lot to be decided by the watcher. I would call it a half well made science thriller.
