Review of The Killing of a Chinese Bookie (1976) by Garry J — 13 Jun 2007
The plot was stronger than I expected but still a distant second to character exploration. I did expect it to move slow and wasn't disappointed. Not that I had a problem with this. It could have actually used less of bad singing at a low-quality strip club.
I got the point long before the singing was over.
