It's like every country has it's own take on comedy. You have typical brittish comedy, typical american comedy, and in the case of "Jalla! Jalla!" typical swedish comedy. I myself is not into the swedish type of comedy (even if I am a native) and knowing that this movie is a romantic comedy (the worst type of movie genre there is), I knew that this movie would not be for me.

But I gave it a shot and I must say it could have been a lot worse, the movie has a solid storyline even if it's not a good one and the characters are not that bad (even if some are very stereotypical).

Maybe you will like it maybe you won't, but I don't recommend this one.
