Review of The Killing of a Chinese Bookie (1976) by Matt G — 02 Dec 2008
I have a feeling I didn't watch the proper version of this, but it was still decent. By far the worst Cassavetes, but Gazzara's performance is spectacular. It felt pretty meandering (which Cassavetes is known for, but I could really feel it here).
i'll give the 1976 version a shot some time.
