Review of The Keep (1983) by J.b. R — 11 Dec 2011
Michael Mann's second feature is an interesting combination of gothic horror, historical drama and science-fiction. In what begins as an impressive and unusual film quickly devolves into an incomprehensible mess.
There is some impressive camerawork and direction from Mann as well as an awesome score by Tangerine Dream but for a 90 minute film this one seems to go one forever.
