Review of Near Dark (1987) by Stacey L — 25 Sep 2014
This is a B rated film. The story was pretty much what one would expect with a B rated vampire film placed in the desert. Predictable, not too much interesting or exciting scenes. The first half of the film drug on until the first action scene which did not carry the viewer to want to finish the film.
The last action scene was not the climatic explosive ending that would redeem the film either. The actors did ok, no one liners or any emotional connection to the characters that would bring much needed feeling to the film.
I?m not sure it should even get one star.
