I was thoroughly impressed. It has a great build up and some superb horror villains. This is an example of why horror films suck today: there is no build up, just torture porn and gore. This is a much better than the corny, overrated, and painfully dated Last House on the Left.
To really like though, I think you have to like 70s cinema, and since I think it was America's golden age of film, I am on board.
