Review of The Hills Have Eyes (1977) by Matthew F. J — 31 Mar 2015
Low budget horror classic from master Wes Craven deserves a good look. It's well done and quite inventive when you think about it, it doesn't take that much to give you some good old thrills. The film is quite good even though I think the 2006 remake by Alexandre Aja is taking things to a whole new level, the original holds some descent acting, solid action scenes and some really interesting ideas.
It's not a masterpiece but it's a cult classic film that deserves a good watch.
