Review of The Heartbreak Kid (1972) by Alec L — 24 Apr 2010
This is the original film that was recently remade with Ben Stiller in the Charles Grodin role. It reminded me of The Woman In Red (in which Grodin also stared) and Youth In Revolt. If nothing else it reminds us that long b4 Beethoven, Beethove's 2nd, and Clifford, Charles Grodin was a really good actor with a fine resume (Midnight Run, The Great Muppet Caper, The Lonely Guy).
