A beautiful setup. But Sturges almost sets up more than he can serve. Remember being a child, visiting a dune. You run down the dune, running and running, and suddenly your legs are outrunning your body, and you are confused, and ideally you make it to the bottom okay.
Well, so it goes with Sturges in this early picture -- finding his legs. Fans -- and all should be fans -- ought to snap this up as a real treat.
