Review of The Great McGinty (1940) by Codie E — 29 Apr 2010
A warm and amusing tale well told by Preston Sturges. Along with the likes of The Lady Eve and Sullivan's Travels, the man proves with his directoral debut, that he really knows how to spin a yarn. Well written, well performed and well shot.
