Think of this movie as Pirates of the Caribbean crossed with James Bond. A dashing hero fights evil monsters and gets the scantily clad babe in the end. The story is pretty standard but works. What makes this movie cool are the F/X by Ray Harryhauen, including a six armed deity in a sword fight.
