I'm sure I'm going to end up watching this allot more, now that I've rediscovered it. It's not as good as "Monster Squad" but not as bad as something like "Troll 2"(also thankfully not as tedious).
Kids open gate to hell in their backyard on accident(by playing a Heavy Metal record), while their parents are away, and demons and ghostly things start appearing in the house. The demons are miniscule and claymation, and more cute than terrifying.
Nothing remotely scary, but entertaining as 80's kitsch.
