Review of The Double (2014) by Dan F — 30 Aug 2014
A bitterly unfair dystopia is the home of the 'non-person' Simon James, living out a meaningless process of existence until he meets James Simon- his exact physical double and the embodiment of all his unachieved ambitions.
Richard Ayaode creates a frightening and funny story around an excellent Jessie Eisenberg, with visuals echoing Gilliam and Jeunet/Caro.
