Review of The Double (2014) by Gareth D — 12 Mar 2016
The reason I love this movie is mostly because of how well I related to the Simon James character; It was like seeing an extreme version of myself. Someone who wanted to change, who didn't want to be the person he knew he was everyday.
And in this story, that person he wanted to be was reflected as someone else entirely, I loved that. I love the way Richard Ayoade chose to tell this story. It was otherworldly, and kind of like watching a broadway play.
Please give this movie a watch, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
