Review of The Bride Wore Black (1968) by Robert M — 18 Feb 2008
The French progenitor of Kill Bill. Instead of stylized violence, a mood of calm serenity ensues as a widow methodically kills her dead husband's killers. Violence is not celebrated at all. Very unusual movie.
