Review of The Bride Wore Black (1968) by Camden N — 13 Jun 2008
Jeanne Moreau is infinitely more badass than Brigitte Bardot, and hers is a very intriguing revenge story. If I ever marry I'm planning on creating a fusion of Jeanne Moreau's feathered dress and Stephanie Seymour's slutty one in November Rain.
Chauvinism has never made me cry, but her 2nd to final victim the artist who makes her dress up like the virginal goddess Diana - a speech by a guy who discusses how he likes to rate women he sees on the street- drove me to tears.
hated Jules and Jim, hated 400 blows and this is nothing like either of em.
