Review of The Big Steal (1949) by Alex F — 05 May 2009
What? No Femme Fatale? This was more like a romatic comedy with some elements of noir.
The good:
Robert Mitchum's charisma,.
Filmed on location (Mexico).
A good twist to the story.
The bad:
Silly Spanish phrases with silly accents,.
Some dialogue lines were actually quite mediocre.
Having said this, it was good enough to watch for me.
