Review of The Big Steal (1949) by Bill T — 29 Jan 2011
Passable little road movie (it's really hard to call this a film noir, even though it's marketed that way) about Mitchum and Greer out on the Mexican highways and biways trying to recover some stolen government money.
Essentially one big chase film (Mitchum and Greer are chasing and being chased) it does provide some humor and Mitchum's smug kisser but really has no point, and doesnt really hold you like it should have.
