Review of The 5th Wave (2016) by Stephanie R — 30 May 2016
Straight forward review: Started off interesting, okay during the middle, but crap at the end. Overall, it just wasn't worth it much. The effects were spot-on if anything, the acting was good as well, especially from Moretz.
The plot was pretty interesting, but its storyline was just bad. It felt like a build-up to something very big and/or interesting, but then it just faded away once the credits came up. It was also strange how they said they were going to do something important at the end, but then we don't see it.
The film wasn't poorly boring necessarily, it was just done poorly from a pretty clear perspective.
