Team Foxcatcher is a haunting documentary featuring home video footage of world champion/Olympian Dave Schultz's time on Foxcatcher Farms with the troubled John E. du Pont. This feels more of a companion piece to 2014's Foxcatcher starring Steve Carell, Channing Tatum, and Mark Ruffalo as Team Foxcatcher shines the spotlight on Dave's story rather than Mark Schultz's brief time on du Pont's estate.
Nevertheless, this is a chilling, well made film on a man's decent into madness and the victim of a very unfortunate, sad situation. Highly recommend this documentary to fans of the Oscar-nominated Foxcatcher.
