Review of Mrs. Doubtfire (1993) by Stan D — 10 Aug 2014
This is a charming, heartwarming, moving, and funny movie that will make you.
Cry, if you have a healthy heart. It is about the love that a father has for his children. This is the underrated jewel of the acting career of Robin Williams, whose wife (Sally Field) divorces him and gains custody of their children. She buys and ad for a nanny, and Robin dresses as an elderly woman and gets the job, fooling her and his children. The ending is realistic instead of sappy. With Pierce Brosnan as Sally's new beau.
