My new favorite X-mas movie! Imagine the highly stylized compositions of Matthew Barney, the violent comedy of Itchy and Scratchy, and combine those with the twisted characters of a Takashi Miike film and you still won't be prepared for this cavalcade of eye crack.
I only gave it 4 stars because it is flawed; about half way through Gen Sekiguchi starts to break the stories apart with these chapter closing fades to black instead of weaving the story lines closer together.
