Review of Crimewave (1985) by Tim S — 16 May 2013

There's a reason Sam Raimi disowned this film. It's like a trainwreck. It's awful, but you can't look away. The only thing good in the film was Bruce Campbell so if you haven't seen it, that is the only reason to see it.

Not because you're a Coen Bros fan or a Sam Raimi fan. They basically had no control over this film. The studio screwed it up from the way it was written. I'm sure the film would have been better if made the way it was meant to be made (as the script was written).

But this was utter dreck.
