A gritty gangster movie set it Japan and rare chance to see Chan doing some serious roles. Following a group of Chinese immigrants, mainy Jackie Chan's character 'Steelhead'. Steelhead travels to Japan in order to find his ex lover, who went to Tokyo to make a living.
In the process, the immigrants get tangled up in a gang war. The Shinjuku Incident proves that Jackie Chan can still make movies, even when he's not jumping off the walls.
