Review of Fight for Your Life (1977) by Trent R — 05 Nov 2009
Boring racesploitation with an extremely telegraphed twist, notorious mainly for Sanderson's lead role and the sheer amount of bigoted hyperbole streaming out of him at all times. The black family is ennobled in an opposite but similarly dehumanizing manner, confirming the racist premise.
There is nothing unexpected here, just some time-killing child murder, rape, and criss-crosses leading up to the anti-climactic end. May be worth seeing for those trying to decide if Sanderson can carry a film, or is just a good character actor.
