Excellently Made Crime Drama. Jackie Chan Switches His Usual Comedic Role, For That Of A Serious & Brutal One. Chan Stars As An illegal Chinese Immigrant, Who Will Stop At Nothing To Help Other Chinese Immigrants Living In Tokyo.
He Came In Search For The Woman He Loves, & Finds Her Married To Eguci, Someone Who Is High Up In The Yakuza. Chan Gives An Emotionally Charged & A Compellingly Brutal Performance As A Man Trying To Survive In A Violent World Where Love, Betrayal, Prejudice & Brutality Play Important Factors.
The Story Isn't Overly Complicated Which Is A Good Thing As It Doesn't Confuse The Viewer. A Great Watch, Especially As It Shows That Jackie Chan Can Do More Than Act The Fool.
