Review of September (1987) by Israel N — 26 Jul 2007
A very delicate, touching yet very powerful drama by the Brooklyn maestro. Shot in a single location with no exterior scenes it shows the story of Lane, an angry and sad woman who has guests in her summer house in Vermont.
They become very close as the days go by but however they got so stranged at the end that is hard to believe it's actually the same movie. A magnificient drama made twice according to the people involved in it.
Very enjoyable indeed.
