Review of September (1987) by Paul P — 10 Aug 2011
Expect more from other pre-1990s Woody Allen films, but take this one for what it is. A quiet story about guilt, regret, loneliness, love, and the ability (or inability) to move on... Elaine Stritch gives a great performance, and Mia farrow delivers as well.
It doesn't go too deep, but it lets you onto the surface and sparks your thoughts and emotions.
