Review of Ryan's Daughter (1970) by Miguel S — 28 Mar 2010
Irish woman (Miles) marries a man she does not love and then falls for a shell-shocked British major who arrives during the 1916 Irish uprising to keep the peace. Not surprisingly, she is accused of betraying the local IRA gunrunners to her British lover.
Tasteful melodrama with lots of pretty scenery.
