Review of Remember (2015) by Mitch S — 02 Apr 2016
As a senior citizen, I often wonder if something I have forgotten is the beginning of a decent into Alzheimer's. So it is easy for me to empathize with Zev Guttman's struggle with memory loss . It is especially disorienting when traumatic events from the past come into play. I think many people fail to appreciate a finely crafted film such as this, (Critics 71% / Audience 77%) because they are uncomfortable with the strong emotional content.
Other fine but emotional films that I feel deserve better ratings :
The Skeleton Twins.
It's a Disaster.
Rabbit Hole.
