Review of Rashomon (1950) by Eric R — 29 Oct 2008
A pretty solid film exploring the nature of viewpoint and different perceptions one may have. It is good but I wish at times the film would have focused more on this theme of the nature of man. I really love the final scenes between the characters and wish it spent more time exploring this.
And yes, I do realize they are connected but I felt the narrative didnt weave these themes together as well as they could have. Definetly stiill a strong film though.
