Review of Rashomon (1950) by Joel H — 30 Jan 2017
I appreciate Rashomon for what it is and the influence that it had on film, but, to be completely honest, it hasn't aged very well. The pacing is a little uneven and the acting is distracting, at times.
Nevertheless, you can't deny Kurosawa's talent in creating this iconic film with its multiple perspectives.
