Review of Quarantine 2: Terminal (2011) by Al M — 31 Oct 2011
Quarantine 2 is honestly nothing special nor something to crave. They take the lost footage style filming, which in my opinion, is what made [Rec] and Quarantine good horror films, and go with the standard movie film scenario. So, I was kinda bummed by that factor, also to be truly honest, the film is quite boring. Nothing scary nor traumatizing every really happens. Now, I do like the fact that they stuck to the night vision type of ending that was seen in [Rec] and Quarantine, so I'll give John Pogue some points for that one.
To be honest, I actually wouldn't mind seeing a Quarantine 3, seeing as how [Rec] 3 and 4 are being (possibly) made, especially since the ending shows the fact that virus will spread. I mean Quarantine 2 isn't really that great of a movie, I would just like to see how the virus spreads seeing as the ending shot shows an infected cat.
Overall, it's what you would expect from a direct-to-dvd sequel; meaning, nothing too amazing but nothing too shitty.
