Review of Dead of Night (1974) by Panos M — 18 Jun 2016
If ever a horror film was built on suspense, sound effects and music Bob Clarke's slow metaphorical horror is just that.
Unfortunately for Bob the acting in this film is horrendous, the pacing is slow and the violence and SFX are now terribly outdated.
Aside from Richard Backus (whose performance reminds me of an unhinged lunatic) the rest of this film is instantly forgettable.
