A lot of fans of the original quarantine film were disappointed that the movie didn't follow the same exact plot of the rec movies, of which the quarantine movies are based off of.
I actually liked that because why would you want to watch the same carbon copy movie but just translated in English?
As much I get the whole, "follow the original story" formula, I really enjoyed the story that.
Quarantine 2 presented. the effects were great, along with the acting from a b-list cast. the film was actually scary at some points as well.
As a fan of both the original and American version of rec, I recommend this movie to anyone looking for a solid horror flick to watch alone or with a group of friends.
