Review of Prince of Darkness (1987) by Martin O — 02 Oct 2007

Second to The Thing, this is one of Jon Carpenters better films. Part of his "apocalypse trilogy", an attempt to combine science and faith, neat ideas, all the while being Carpenter-creepy in all the right ways.

Casting is the only gripe I have, but, not much you can do about it. I like how the Tachyon is used here...all the while I thought it was popularized by Star Trek! what a fool I am!
