Review of Prince of Darkness (1987) by Jonathan H — 13 Nov 2012
Solid 80s horror, and vintage Carpenter: a siege film with great tracking shots, impressive soundtrack, the Church as a forgotten relic, and the central story highlighting some facet of American paranoia (AIDS, in this case).
Ultimately though, too much set up, not enough Alice Cooper.
