I like Ryan gosling, and I like Nicolas winding refn. Both talented and unique but this is a stretch bordering on madness. There is nothing to like about the movie, except perhaps the lighting. You hate every character, you hate every situation, you hate every scene as each shot and piece of dialogue has harsh undertones that are just plain distressing.

It's shocking really. To go this far after such a good solid piece as "drive". At some point gosling has to start opening his mouth. Otherwise even the maddest of female admirers will get bored of his stare.
