MY OLD LADY:(B+) Beware the misleading, cheerful looking "Philomena meets Chef" movie poster... but alas, we've another fairly dark "one of my parents did this to me" film. 'Cept this one is wildly unpredictable.
.. as the dark layers kept coming, before any kind of light eventually finds it's way. Kevin Kline is perfectly annoying here; as Kristin Scott Thomas balances his unwelcome anger w/her own issues.
Both, ultimately solid... as they sort their confusion w/a thin comedic coating. This one worked hard for my approval, but it gets it.
