Review of My Old Lady (2014) by Lisa S — 21 Mar 2015
To all those that didn't quite grasp the essence of this movie....the writer has twisted the holy grail of passionate affairs justified by desire and 'discreetness' (as per story) to the lives of those effected by an act of pure self.
The audience is twisted around to see what was at 'the back of the room'...a view rarely exposed with honesty to audiences who prefer to stay in the moments of lust, heartbreaker and justifications.
All measures of the film as in script, acting, pace and characterisation are excellent. See this film to know more about consequences of self pursuit.
