I found the film to be dull and pretentious, also the whole film is in French and subtitled.

The story itself the main part I found interesting was the ending, otherwise a long and drawn out film that's very sparse as far as the story goes.

Very artistic and made for a Sunday when you absolutely have nothing else to do and you're a huge Brando fan, otherwise give this film a wide birth as to most movie watchers it really is old hat. The sex scenes are also nothing to rave about, daft and as meaningless as the film.
