Review of Morning Glory (1933) by Jeff B — 08 Oct 2008
So so film starring Katharine Hepburn (in her first Best Actress Oscar) as a young woman who wants to be a star on stage. It's a short film, only about 75 minutes long, so it's not so bad, but it's a pretty predictable story.
Hepburn isn't bad, she does her usual extremely fast talking, but the party scene is pretty good. I could have done without the final scene though, it just seemed out of place, it just ended way too quickly.
The rest of the cast is pretty good. Overall, eh, whatever, good but very forgettable.
